Gayle F. Tarzwell graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1973 and received her law degree from the University of Richmond in 1976. She received a Masters in Taxation from Bryant College in 1981. She served as an Instructor of Business Law at the University of Rhode Island for several years. Currently, she practices in South Kingstown, RI with her daughter, Amanda, concentrating in wills, trusts, estate administration, estate tax planning, probate, guardianship and estate planning for families with a person with special needs. Gayle and her husband, Tom have a 28 year old daughter with Down syndrome who lives in a supported living arrangement in South Kingstown, RI. Gayle is a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Down Syndrome Congress, the Down Syndrome Society of Rhode Island and PLAN RI.
